Summer Small Works 2026 – Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
I have 4 pieces in this years Summer Small Works Show, 3 -10×10’s and a lovely 20×20 called Jewel Bay.

“Luv It” – Group show at the Gage Gallery
This was a last minute decision, filling a gap in the Gages show roster in Fabruary. I organized a show with 4 other very talented artists, Liz Charsley, Rose Cowels, Stefan Lehman and Katharine Geddes. It ran during the Victoria at Dusk Festival and wow it was a crazy time. So many people came into see us and it was rather amazing…I luved it 😉

Exhibiting at the Ministry of Health
Another public installation for myself, a huge space and great lighting. Andrew was a superstar helping me get everything up.

Moss Street Paint-In 2026
Even busier than last year, I can’t believe it. I was much more organized and things went great. I sold a bunch of original paintings, had new products including stickers and new birch mounted prints, and I hired my teenager to help along with his friend…and I paid them…and…well they were there and that was fun lol

Artist in Residence at the Malahat Skywalk
This was such an amazing opportunity. I was invited to be the artist in residence for the month of June up at the Malahat Skywalk. If you don’t know what this is, it’s a crazy tall spiral path with a slide, and nature and great coffee and alllll of the things. I met some really special people and painted outside! That was weird, because I usually paint in my room. Also, it was very very hot a few days… SO I mostly drank iced coffee and chatted lol

Bowker Creek Brush Up
Again, it seems the art events in Victoria just keep growing and growing. It was such a nice day, not to hot, and the best people stopped by my booth to chat and buy my art. I also had a lovely owl hang out in the tree behind my tent all day. There was always a huge crowd around me, and I thought it was because I’m so cool…but it was the owl most likely haha

This year has been full of ups and downs, being an artist isn’t just doing art, its being a business woman as well and… I’m kicking butt….sorta hahaha
